Description
Stretfordbury is a 17th-century farmhouse located in Leominster. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with a Welsh slate roof and features two brick ridge stacks. The building has an E-shaped plan and consists of two storeys and a cellar, with a four-window range that includes 19th-century cross-windows with casements, all set under brick segmental arches. The central entrance boasts an 18th-century six-panel door that is recessed in panelled reveals and topped with a simple wooden hood supported by fluted pilasters. This entrance is flanked by pairs of cross-windows. The left wing has been rebuilt in brick following a fire, and there is a rubble external stack along with 19th-century casements. To the right, there is a brick-blocked opening, and there are wings at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
