Description
This building is a former stable block that has been converted into a garage, located approximately 15 meters south-east of Treribble. It dates from the early 18th century and has been altered over time. The structure is built of English bond brick with ashlar dressings and features a hipped slate roof. It has a rectangular plan with an extension to the north. The original central entrance on the main front has been altered and enlarged in the 20th century, and there is now an opening on the south side. The building stands two storeys high with an attic, and it has a string course and rusticated quoins. There are three windows with 20th-century glazing bar casements, and the ground floor windows have larger proportions due to altered openings. A central gabled dormer is also present. The garage, along with the Old Cider House to the south-west, creates a well-defined and symmetrically composed group with Treribble.
