Description

Middle Brook is a 17th-century farmhouse with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed with square-panelled timber framing, plastered infill, a sandstone rubble plinth, brick shafts to the stacks, and a stone slate roof. The rectangular plan consists of three bays with a central cross-wing, featuring lateral stacks and an entrance to the east. The east front has a central gable end to the cross-wing, with four six-pane windows on the first floor. Below, a pair of two-light casement windows flank a centrally-gabled porch, which contains a ledged door. A lateral stack is located to the right.
