Description

The Porch House is an early to mid-19th century house located in Lugwardine. It is constructed of stuccoed brick with a hipped slate roof, and is two rooms deep. The house has end stacks and an axial stack. The south front has bands of quoins, a modillion eaves cornice, and is arranged with a 1:1:1:2 window pattern, featuring segmental-headed sash windows with decorative glazing bars. A Tuscan portico is located to the left of centre, incorporating an inner doorway with a decorative overlight and a panelled door. Decorative conjoined star-plan shafts rise to the stacks.
