Description
The Hoskyns Monument is a pedestal tomb located about 3 yards southwest of the southwest corner of the former Church of St Denis at The Kennels in Harewood Park. It commemorates Hungerford Hoskyns, Baronet, who died in 1802. The monument is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features corner balusters, oval margins, and corner paterae on its sides. It has a fluted frieze and a gadrooned edge to the cornice, which supports a plinth for the broken stem of a missing finial.
