Description
The Morgan Monument, located about 7 yards south of the central buttress on the south side of the south chapel of the Church of St Michael, is a chest tomb dedicated to James Morgan, who died in 1829. It is made of finely cut sandstone and features a moulded base and slightly hipped capping. The corners are adorned with balusters that have oval palmette decoration, and the inscription panels have quadrant corners.
