Description
The Morgan monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 8 meters south-west of the tower of the Church of St Michael and All Angels. It commemorates Morgan, who died in 1823, and is made of stone. The tomb features a flat hipped lid with sunken slopes and a moulded edge. The sides have a sunken rectangular panel that contains a slightly raised section with scalloped corners, while the ends are a compressed version of the sides. The corners are adorned with quarter rectangular balusters, and there is a moulded plinth at the base. The monument includes one line of inscription in Gothic lettering.
