Description

These are two early 19th century buildings forming numbers 6 and 7 New Street. They are constructed of red brick, with some areas painted. The buildings are three stories in height, originally featuring two windows each, with barred sash windows and decorative keyblocks above them; the sills are also prominent. There are two original entrances. The left-hand side of the building has two stories rendered in stucco. The roof is slate, and a lower three-story addition is present on the right-hand side, with a single window. Numbers 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12 and numbers 22 to 26 New Street are designated as a group of buildings of group value.
