Description

The Horse and Jockey Inn is an early 19th-century building located at 1560 New Street on the north side. It is constructed of red brick, with the ground floor painted. The inn has three storeys and features two windows with barred sashes. On the right side, there is a bow fronted bay that extends over two storeys. The building has brick dentil eaves and a slate roof. It is part of a group that includes Nos 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12 and Nos 22 to 26 in consecutive order.
