Description
This water pump, located about 15 yards east of Hallaston, was likely made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from cast iron and features an octagonal top on the shaft, which has exposed linkage to a cranked handle. The spout is adorned with a crest, and the shaft displays raised lettering that reads "BELLOW & SON MAKER LEOMINSTER." The pump is included for its group value.
