Description
These stables, located approximately 15 meters east of Tedgewood, date back to the 18th century and were altered in the 20th century. They are constructed from coursed and squared sandstone rubble, with some local Gorsley sandstone and ashlar dressings. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos. The building has a rectangular plan and features two entrances on the west front, along with a loft entry on the north gable end. It is a single storey with an attic, and includes rusticated quoins. There are two doorways with flat arched heads that flank a window with a similar head. The altered trusses have the date of 1795 inscribed on the principal of the central truss.
