Description
This building is a barn and attached stables located about 60 yards north of Pixley Court, likely dating from the early 18th century. The barn features a timber frame set on a sandstone rubble plinth, with weatherboards and a corrugated iron roof. It consists of three bays oriented north-west to south-east and has a central full-height entrance. The attached stable to the north-west is also timber-framed, with brick infill on a brick and sandstone rubble plinth, and probably consists of two bays. There is a stable door on the left side, and the frame of the stable is two panels high from the cill to the wall-plate.
