Description

This former granary, located about 20 yards south-south-east of Stocks House, is now used as a store. It was likely built in the late 17th century to early 18th century. The structure features a timber frame with brick and wattle and plaster infill panels, topped with a corrugated iron roof. It is one storey high with an attic and consists of three bays aligned north to south. The east elevation has two double entrances, one in the center and one on the right side. The frame consists of three panels high. The gable trusses include three vertical struts from the tie to the collar, with V-struts above, while the intermediate bays have raking struts from the ties to the principals. This building is included for its group value.
