Description

The Beavan monument, located about 15 yards south-west of the Church of the Holy Trinity, is a chest tomb dedicated to Evan Beavan, who died in 1814. It was crafted by J Yates of Hereford. The tomb is made of sandstone ashlar and features balustered corners, a shallow hipped capping, and oval inscription panels set in shallow recesses, adorned with leaf ornament in the spandrels. Additionally, it has a fluted frieze.
