Description

The Watkins memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 3 meters south of the nave of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of sandstone ashlar. The tomb has a rectangular plan with a plain base and a moulded capping. Its short ends are shaped, and the long sides feature two oval inscription panels that are decorated with urn and floral motifs. The memorial commemorates members of the Watkins family.
