8/48 Outbuilding about 60 yards west-south-west of Great Moorcourt Farmhouse

GV II

Wainhouse, now garage. Probably late C18 to early C19. Timber-framed, weatherboarded, hipped tiled roof. Five bays aligned north/south. One storey. West elevation has three windows, probably mid-C20 of two lights. Entry from north end. Interior: frequent wall-posts and trusses are of thin wavy scantling; each pegged truss has angle struts from post to tie-beam which carries V-struts to principals. Forms part of the farm complex at Great Moorcourt Farmhouse (qv).
