Description

Brook Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 17th century but was remodeled in the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of rendered brick with planted framing, sitting on a coursed rubble plinth and topped with a slate roof. It features internal gable-end stacks with brick shafts. The north front has two storeys and is adorned with two 2-light casement windows. A central entrance, which is approached by a ramp, has a ledged and boarded door. To the right, there is a cellar entrance that also has a ledged and boarded door. The cottage is included for its group value.
