Description
This property comprises two houses, originally a single house, located on Broad Street in Weobley. The core of the building dates to the 17th century, but it was significantly altered and given a new facade in the early 19th century, with some repairs made in the late 20th century. It is timber-framed and faced with painted brick, with a tile roof. A brick chimney stack, built on a rubble base, is situated to the north of the building, partly concealed by a single-storey lean-to addition.
The west front has two storeys and two windows. The windows are 2-light casements with segmental heads. On the ground floor, a 2-light casement is located in the lean-to on the left, followed by a 3-light and a 2-light casement, both also with segmental heads. The entrance to No. 5 is situated between the windows and features a 20th-century gabled porch with a two-leaf glazed door. The entrance to No. 5A is to the right and has a segmental head over a half-glazed door. The north gable truss incorporates two raking struts.
