Description
Warslaw Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was altered in the late 18th century. It features a timber-framed structure with wattle-and-daub and brick infill, a sandstone plinth, and a hipped tiled roof. The building has three framed bays and an additional half-bay at the east end, oriented east to west and facing south. The entrance is located left of center, with end stacks. The farmhouse has two storeys and a cellar, and it includes three 2-light leaded casement windows. Similar windows are found on either side of a ledged door that has an overlight and a canopied porch. Although the interior is not accessible, it is noted that the half-bay at the east end is said to retain an early hop kiln.
