Description
The Harris monument, located about 5 yards south-east of the south-east corner of the south aisle of the Church of St George, is a pedestal tomb dedicated to Daniel Harris, who died in 1837. It is made of finely cut sandstone and features a moulded base with a concave hipped capping. The monument has a swagged frieze and oval side panels adorned with drapes at each corner. It forms a close group with the Butt, Mailes, and Williams monuments.
