Description
Frome Farmhouse with an adjoining cider house is an 18th-century building. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with internal square panelled framing for the partitions and features a tiled roof, while the cider house has a corrugated metal roof. The main range is aligned southwest to northeast and faces northwest, with two later paired gabled ranges extending to the rear. The farmhouse has a central entrance and an end stack, with the cider house adjoining to the northeast. The property has two storeys, a cellar, and an attic, and includes 2-light casement windows and a central ledged door. Inside, the farmhouse retains a winder staircase and some chamfered ceiling beams in the main rooms. The cider house still contains a press and scratter, which is a later replacement of the original mill.
