Barn about 30 yards north-east of Garway Court

GV II

Barn. "IP 1726" next to owl hole in south gable and "WP 1786" next to owl hole in north gable. Thinly coursed sandstone rubble with corrugated iron and Welsh slate roofs. Five bays aligned roughly north/south with projecting wing to west at south end. South elevation has gable front to right with square opening below eaves level, owl hole in centre of gable top, verges supported by kneelers and gabled finial to apex; projecting wing has two rectangular openings to ground floor and one to first floor to right of which are two loops, ledged stable door to west gable. Interior: raking struts from ties to principals in north/south range. Included for group value as a dated example of a barn.
