Description
This is a group of three chest tombs located approximately one metre south of the chancel of the Church of St Clodock, dating from the late 18th century. They are made of sandstone ashlar and have a rectangular plan with moulded plinths and capping. One tomb features the Price memorial against the church wall, which includes fluted pilasters on either side of fielded inscription panels. Another defaced tomb, dated 1777, has pilasters with foliated capitals flanking its inscription panel. The Titley memorial from 1780 also has fluted pilasters surrounding an inscription panel with an oval inset, along with floral motifs in the corners and oval panels on the short sides.
