Description
The Yeomans monument is a chest tomb located adjacent to the south-east corner of the chancel of the Church of St Weonard. It commemorates Richard Yeomans, who died in 1833. The tomb is made of sandstone ashlar and features a moulded base and hipped capping. It is adorned with corner balusters that have acanthus decoration. The inscription panel is fielded with an incised margin, and at the outside of the quadrant corners, there are four paterae.
