Description
The Yeatman memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 8 meters south of the nave of the Church of St. Stephen. It dates from around 1829 and is made of limestone. The tomb has a rectangular shape with a moulded plinth, capping, and a stepped chamfered top. There are plain moulded inscription panels on the north and south sides; the northern panel commemorates Benjamin Yeatman, who died in 1829, while the southern panel was illegible at the time of the last survey in July 1987. The memorial also features recessed corner balusters.
