Description

The Yeatman Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 6 meters east of the northeast corner of the chancel chapel of the Church of St. Stephen. It dates from around 1793 and is made of limestone. The tomb is rectangular in shape and features a moulded plinth and capping. It has paired plain oval inscription panels on the north and south sides, with recessed corner balusters. The north side includes crossed torches between the panels, commemorating Christopher Yeatman, who died in 1793, and his wife, Margaret, who died in 1763.
