GV II

Pair of sluice gates and control gear. Early C19. Ashlar abutments with wooden gates and iron gears. Horizontal shaft with worm gearing to large spur wheels which operate the gates by winding drums and chains. This building is part of a mill complex built for cotton and silk spinning.
