Description
Number 1 and its attached boundary wall date from the late 18th century. The house is constructed of brick with a pantile roof, featuring cogged eaves and two gable stacks, rebuilt in the late 20th century. The windows are 20th-century casements, with front openings having segmental brick heads. The house is two storeys plus garrets, originally with a three-window front, although the window arrangement has been altered. The east front has a central single casement flanked by two-light casements. A central four-panel door, with overlight, is set within a plain jamb. Cross casements are located on either side of the door, and single garret casements are visible in the gables. An attached brick boundary wall has gabled and half-round brick copings.
