Description
The Cottage and attached boundary wall date from the mid-18th century, with alterations in the mid-19th century and a mid-20th century addition. The cottage is constructed of dressed stone, with a rendered brick addition and a pantile roof. It has a single ridge stack and a single gable stack. The windows have segmental heads. The two-storey, three-window-range east front features a central single casement window, flanked by two-light casement windows. A central, moulded four-panel door, with a pediment, is flanked by single Yorkshire sash windows. A single window is present on each floor of the gable end facing the street. A long, approximately 50-metre boundary wall, constructed of brick and having ramped gabled brick coping, is attached to the property.
