RUFFORD off OLD RUFFORD ROAD (east side) Garden Urn 25 M east of Rufford Abbey

Garden urn. Mid C18. Removed probably from parapet Rufford Abbey. Ashlar with rendered brick plinth. Chamfered square plinth carrying urn with stepped square base and ringed octagonal stem. Vase-shaped octagonal body. Above, 4 scallops forming crest. Flanked by single mermaid supporters. Fallen and broken in two.
