Description

The ornamental garden arch, located 25 meters southeast of Clyde House in Southwell, dates from the late 19th century. It incorporates fragments of mid-14th century style tracery, which may have been taken from Southwell Minster during restorations in the late 19th century. The arch is constructed from coping stones that form upright supports, topped with a cusped ogee window head that creates the arch shape.
