Description
Westgate House is a building that combines two houses into one, dating from around 1790 and 1830. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has slate roofs. The building features a 20th-century rendered plinth, cogged eaves, and three gable stacks. The left block has coped gables, while both blocks are two storeys high and each has two windows. The higher left block has two windows on each floor, all with keystoned lintels, with the upper windows being smaller. The right block has two smaller windows. On the left side, there is a reeded stone doorcase with a small hood supported by brackets, an overlight, and a six-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed. To the right, there is a single larger window.
