Number 9 Nottingham Road is a house dating from the late 18th century, with changes made to its windows in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick, featuring rendered lintels and a pantile roof. The eaves are adorned with moulded brick dentillation, and there is a single gable stack. The windows are plain sashes, and the house has two storeys with a two-window range. The entrance door is slightly off-centre and is flanked by single sash windows.
