Description

Number 1 is a house dating from approximately the 1820s and 1830s. It is constructed of brick, painted, with end walls of flint and pebble stone. It has a hipped slate roof and end and ridge stacks. The house follows a double pile plan and is double fronted. The front facade features three recessed hung sash windows with twelve panes to each. A double recessed round-headed arch frames the doorway, featuring a raised key block and a fanlight with intersecting glazing bars. The doorway has a panelled door. At the rear is a contemporary outbuilding with a thatched roof.
