Description
The barn at Brockilow Farmhouse is an early 19th-century structure made of brick, featuring a brick plinth and dentillated eaves, topped with a pantile roof. It is a single-storey building with three bays. The north gable has a lean-to addition that includes a stable door with a segmental head and breathers, along with three additional breathers above. On the west side, there is a stable door with a segmental head, and above it, a ventilator and hatch. This side also has a pair of off-centre barn doors, with three tiers of two breathers to the left and three breathers to the right. The east side mirrors this with a pair of similar barn doors, flanked to the right by three tiers of two breathers. There is an adjoining stable to the south, which is also a single storey with three bays, but it is not of special interest.
