Description
Lloyds Chemists is a building that originally comprised two houses, dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid and late 19th century and the 20th century. The front is finished in stucco and features a steeply pitched slate roof, with moulded wooden eaves and a single ridge stack. The building has two storeys and a five-window range. The front displays five plain sash windows, with the central window being blank and equipped with a wrought iron sign bracket. There are two late 19th-century wooden shopfronts, both with corniced fascias; the larger shopfront on the left has a recessed door to the right, while the smaller one has a door to the left. Both shopfronts have mid-20th-century glazing. The interior of the ground floor was remodelled in the late 19th century and mid-20th century.
