Description
This building, originally two houses and now three shops, was constructed in the early 19th century. It has been altered in the mid- to late-19th century and the 20th century. The brick facade is rendered and colourwashed, and the roof is covered with pantiles and features cogged eaves and two ridge stacks. The windows are 19th-century sash windows with segmental heads. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The left pair of windows are set at a lower level, above which are four smaller windows. To the left is a late-19th-century shopfront with pilasters, a wooden fascia supported by brackets, and a door positioned off-centre. To the right are two 20th-century shopfronts, the left one being smaller, both sharing a common 19th-century fascia with a sunblind.
