Description

Little Farm Cottage is an early 18th-century brick cottage located on the west side of Gainsborough Road in Langford. The cottage is constructed of red brick, with a pantile roof. It features brick and render detailing, coped gables, kneelers, dogtooth eaves, and a single central ridge stack. The building is single-storied with a garret. The front has three bays, with a central doorway featuring a plain door and surround, flanked by single Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars. All openings are topped with segmental arches, with a continuous band running above. A rear wing, originally constructed of brick and pantiles, demonstrates a steeper pitched roof, exposed rafters at the eaves, a single gable stack, and an outshut to the north.
