Description
Elmtree Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, which was restored in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with red brick dressings and quoins. The roof is made of pantiles with plain tile lower courses, featuring brick coped gables, kneelers, and tumbling. There are two brick gable stacks and a single brick ridge stack. The building has two storeys with a garret and consists of six bays. The doorway is off-centre and features a 20th-century door. On the north side, there is a single light sash window, with a single Yorkshire sash window beyond. On the south side, there are three Yorkshire sash windows, with a similar arrangement above. All openings are topped with segmental brick arches. To the north, there is a brick and tile lean-to.
