Description
Langford Crossing Gate House is a railway cottage built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a hipped slate roof with projecting eaves supported by wooden brackets. The building has two storeys and a double brick stack.
The central feature is a projecting single-storey gabled porch that includes a central doorway with a plain surround and a fanlight set under a segmental arch. A raised brick band runs along the line of the gable. To the south of the porch, there is an arched casement window. On the first floor, a central casement window is flanked by single brick piers on either side, along with a narrow fixed light with four panes. To the north of the main structure, there is a single-storey extension with a single window.
