Description
The Old Rectory Farmhouse is a house built in the early 18th century, with additions from the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a pantile roof with two gable stacks. The building has two storeys plus an attic and features three bays. The first floor has dentillated double brick and eaves bands. The central doorway has a plain surround with a two-pane overlight and a later segmental hood, flanked by single 20th-century splayed bays that contain glazing bar casements. Above the doorway is an ashlar plaque with "THE OLD RECTORY" carved in relief. On the first floor, there are five glazing bar sash windows set under segmental arches. The attic features three casement dormers, with the center one being slightly narrower. At the rear, there is a two-storey, single bay extension made of brick and pantile.
