Description

The lamp post at the Church of St. Wilfrid, dating from around 1870, is made of cast iron. It features a tapered round shaft adorned with bands of Romanesque decoration and a foliate capital. There are ladder rests with foliate ends, and it supports a square tapered oil lamp. This lamp post is included in the listing for its group value.
