Description

This lamp post, located approximately 4 meters south of the south porch of the Church of St Edward, King and Martyr, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and features an octagonal shaft that stands on a moulded base adorned with blind tracery panels. The lamp post has a moulded octagonal cross bar and a foliated capital. The hexagonal lantern at the top is missing its glazing. This lamp post is one of a set of three located in the churchyard and is included for its group value.
