Description
Trent Bank House is a late 18th-century brick house with a pantile roof, located on the west side of Trent Bank in North Muskham. The building features dentillated eaves, coped gables with kneelers, and two gable stacks. It has three plus one single storeys and is arranged in three bays. The main facade includes windows that are glazing bar sashes with segmental rubbed brick heads.
On the east front, there is a central reeded doorcase with curved brackets supporting a dentillated hood, leading to a panelled door with an overlight. This door is flanked by single windows. Above the door, there is a central blank panel flanked by single windows, and above that, a smaller central blank panel with similar smaller windows on either side.
To the left of the main house, there is a single storey service wing with three bays, which has a 20th-century casement window on the left and two Yorkshire sashes on the right. The rear elevation features a 20th-century lean-to addition with a pantile roof and a French window on the left, and a glazing bar sash with a segmental head on the right. The rest of the rear has irregular 19th and 20th-century window arrangements. Inside, there is a re-set 19th-century reeded Classical style fireplace.
