Description
Maplebeck House is an early 19th-century brick house located on the north side of Maplebeck Main Street. It features a 20th-century concrete tile roof and has cogged eaves, two gable stacks, and a single stack on the rear wall. The house is two storeys tall with garrets and is arranged in an L-plan with three bays. The south front has a replica panelled door set in plain jambs, topped with an overlight and flanked by single glazing bar sash windows, all of which have segmental rubbed brick heads. Above the door, there is a smaller central sash window flanked by larger single sashes. The east gable includes a small 20th-century casement window, while the west gable features a 20th-century casement and a corbelled bow window, with a blocked opening to the garret above.
