Description
The stable block at Winkburn Hall dates from the late 18th century and was raised in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof with a single central clock tower at the rear. The clock tower has clock faces on the front, right, and rear, along with a single rectangular opening on the left, and is topped with a wooden cupola that has a pyramidal slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of seven bays. There is a rendered band at the first floor level, with a central segmental arched doorway. Flanking the doorway are three glazing bar casements, and above them are four cross casements. Between the two on the right, there is a single blocked window opening.
