Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with two red brick gable stacks. The eaves are decorated with dentil, raised brick, and dogtooth detailing. The building has two storeys plus a garret and consists of three bays. There is a first-floor band that extends over the first-floor lintels. The central opening, which was formerly a doorway, now contains a single casement and is flanked by two similar tripartite casements. Above, there are two more similar tripartite casements, all situated under segmental arches. At the rear, there is a two-storey, two-bay wing that is slightly earlier and set on a plinth in parts. Inside, the farmhouse features chamfered beams with ogee stops and some cupboards that have butterfly hinges.
