Description

This is a freestanding chimney built around 1875, located 10 meters southeast of the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Newark on Trent. It is constructed of brick with stone and blue brick dressings, as well as iron reinforcement. The chimney has a square base with a plain band and features a tapered octagonal shaft that ends in a coped top. It is likely part of the church's heating system and is included for its group value with the church.
