Description
This is a late 18th-century house, later used as an office, located on the north side of Newark on Trent’s Market Place. The building is constructed of brick with stone dressings, topped with concrete tile roofs and featuring two gable stacks. It is arranged over four storeys, with a third-floor sill band and a single coped gable. The front elevation has a two-window range of plain sash windows. The fourth floor has two smaller windows with six panes. All windows are embellished with multiple keystones. A 20th-century replica wooden shopfront with a full-width fascia occupies the ground floor.
