Description
This building consists of a cottage, stable, and carriage house, located 25 meters east of South Muskham Prebend. It dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. The structure is built of brick and features plain tile and pantile roofs. The whitewashed cottage has cogged eaves and segment-headed openings, with a single gable and a side wall stack. It is two storeys high and has a two-window range, with two plain sashes on each floor. The right gable has an addition containing a door.
To the left is a two-storey stable range, which has a coped gable and a hipped addition. The front of the stable features an external brick stair on the right leading to a plank door, and to its left is a two-light casement window. The carriage house includes an off-centre passageway and at the rear, there are three pairs of carriage doors, with the ones to the left of the passageway having segmental heads.
